Services
Individual Counselling provides a confidential, non-judgemental space to explore thoughts, feelings, behaviours, and life circumstances.
We offer one-on-one therapy for adults & teens navigating anxiety, depression, grief, stress, suicidal thoughts, self-harm, trauma, burnout, perfectionism, low self-esteem, and life transitions.
You do not need an official diagnosis, referral, or be in crisis to access counselling.
Walk & Talk
These individual sessions take place in an outdoor location near Smithers BC, changing the experience from traditional counselling normally done sitting face-to-face.
The goal is not intense exercise or a sweaty workout but to move at a steady pace while enjoying nature. You still get the same psychological support as indoor therapy but with the added bonus of gentle physical movement in the outdoors that can help regulate the nervous system and process difficult emotions.

Society places high expectations on new parents, especially mothers, from a glowing pregnancy, to joyful baby snuggles, and the idea that parenting comes naturally. When the reality is becoming a parent can be a vulnerable time for their mental health. Motherhood can be beautiful, exhausting, overwhelming, and everything in between.
If your pregnancy or postpartum experience is not what you expected and you find yourself struggling, we can help. Counselling offers a non-judgemental place to talk about the difficult stuff— depression, anxiety, intrusive thoughts, mom guilt, rage, identity loss, relationship strain— you are not alone.

Feeding Trauma
Creating a family, pregnancy, and the birth of a baby does not always go the way we plan. When there is trauma or loss it can be difficult for people to fully understand and support your experience.
Birth trauma can show up as intrusive memories, anxiety, not wanting to be away from the baby, avoidance of medical centres, intense anger, deep grief or shame, and nightmares. Counselling is a place to talk about these painful events, rebuild connection and trust in your body, express emotions, and learn coping strategies.
I also offer counselling for the non-birthing partner as they were part of the traumatic birth experience and deserve support too!
Couples Counselling
Becoming parents is a huge life transition and can shift romantic relationships. Maybe you are struggling with parenting differences, intimacy, sleep deprivation which can amplify minor frustrations, unequal division of labour, or just missing past versions of your relationship.
Counselling can help with learning to repair after conflict, communication, rebuilding connection and intimacy, navigating parenting roles, and creating shared meaning.
